" it’s just a joke, relax! "

" you’re all overreacting! "

this is someone’s fucking daughter.

if you think anything about this is ok because it’s ” just a joke ” you’re a seriously disgusting individual.

twitter normalizing pedophilia

Im gonna fucking throw up

thats a child….. she literally look 5

This is the most disgusting thing i seen in a while she look 5 how can u be attracted to and/or joke about doin bad things with her. How is this funny.

Not even 5. Try 3 or 4 y’all. THIS IS A BABY. This is not funny in any way. This is pedophilia. This little girl probably can’t even spell her name and she is being exploited for twitter “jokes”. THIS IS FUCKING SICK. If you’re active on twitter, please report this shit if you see it. This is unacceptable.

besides her being someone’s daughter, she is simply someone; a human being who should be respected.

But back on to the subject of her being someone’s daughter. Because it’s her parents who are far more likely to find this than her (considering she is so young). Imagine how they will now feel taking their young, innocent, little girl put anywhere. Their baby who they assume can just be a child when and as she wants to be. They have that ripped from them.

Suddenly they’re apprehensive about taking her to the park. Keep one parent home with her when the other goes shopping, when she used to go with them and pick out her cereal or maybe a treat. They’re up at the school doors or trying to come right to her classroom when before she could walk to the six foot from school to the car alone (assuming she’s 8 not 5). They won’t take as many photos of her now when before her favourite thing was to dress in her pretty dresses and pose for Mommy. They are protective, overly so, and eventually the little girl comes to wonder what she did wrong. Because she’s only young and this seems like a punishment.

This makes me so fucking sick and angry

There are people who still don’t understand the difference between these situations.

image

Let’s go through these.

The second gif: Fitz blows those people out of the plane, yes. These people were threatening Coulson at gunpoint, had taken over the plane, threatened to kill him by slitting his throat, and were likely going to kill them all. The only way to save Coulson was to resort to that plan.

The third gif: For GOD’S SAKE, he had a gun and was seconds away from shooting Coulson! She had just chased him down back from the plane after he tortured her to keep him from hurting Coulson AND Ward by the way. If she hadn’t killed him, he would have pulled the gun on them and shot them.

The forth gif: May was fighting for her life in this scene. They were trying to kill her and moments before, were about to shoot her. She was defending her life. Fitz shot that man to save May. He had a gun on her, and Fitz shot him to save her.

The fifth gif: Coulson blows up that jet because they were trying to kill Garrett, who, at that point, he thought was his friend and ally. If someone is trying to kill your friend, you do what is necessary. If he hadn’t blown up that plane, they would have killed Garrett, and if Garrett could have managed to get on the Bus, they might have blown them up too.

The sixth gif: Daniels was a murdering psycho stalker that was about to kidnap Audrey and do god knows what to her. They had to do what was necessary to stop him. He was a lost cause, he was insane. There was no reasoning with him. Coulson blowing up Garrett is more complicated. But there are similar reasons. Garrett was a madman who would never stop until he killed the entire team, so Coulson killed him.

The seventh gif: Seriously? SERIOUSLY? First of all, Skye killing one person does not qualify as a serial killer. A serial killer has to have killed three or more people. So look up the definition before calling Skye that. Also, Donnie was freezing the boat, trapping May and Lance inside. If she hadn’t done that, the two of them would have been stuck in there, and might have frozen to death. Donnie was also with Hydra, and they had no way to counteract the brainwashing. She did what was necessary to save the team.

I am very over watching people shit on every single other character on this show to make Ward look better. Because if you seriously can’t see the difference between these situations and the murders Ward has committed, then you’re just being completely blind.

Gloria Steinem and Dorothy Pitman-Hughes, 1972 and 2014

Both by Dan Bagan

Wanna see my cry like a baby? Ask me who these women were.

Hughes’ father was beaten nearly to death by the KKK when she was a kid, and what does she do? Become an activist to try and stop that from happening to other people. She raised money to bail civil rights protesters out of jail. She helped women get out of abusive situations by providing shelter for them until they got on their feet. She founded an agency that helped women get to work without having to leave their children alone, because childcare in the 1970s? Not really a thing. In fact, a famous feminist line in the 70s was “every housewife is one man away from welfare.”

Then she teamed up with Steinman to found the Women’s Action Alliance, which created the first battered women’s shelters in history. They attacked women’s rights issues through boots on the ground activism, problem solving, and communication. They stomped over barriers of race and class to meet women where they were: mostly mothers who wanted better for themselves and their children.

These are women are who I always wanted to be.

Let’s not forget that these ladies are STILL out there grinding on the front lines for feminism.
